Hi Everyone,

Where did this week go?!  After recuperating from the workshop I thought I'd have lots of time to blog about it and get some other stories up, but that quickly went down the tubes.  "Busy" season isn't over yet I guess!  :-)

Tonight I thought I would share a cool link that I found on the National Press Photographers Association website.  They have a lot of cool resources for your professional development as a photographer, and one of them is a very handy cost of doing business calculator.  It starts you off with some preset figures, but you can easily customize it to fit your business.

They also have some good information on:

• Contracts
• Copyright Law
• And a whole list of good photography books

Open Mike Night #46 - M2 Light the Night!

The time has come...M2 Light the Night is finally here!  At this very moment, a whole bunch of photographers have converged to learn and study their craft, starting with a hands on model session.

So while you are sipping hot chocolate and enjoying your nice toasty house while reading this post, we'll be out there in the 20-30F degree weather rattling our teeth, sneezing, and wiping our noses with tissues like they're going out of style.

Oh yeah.  We'll be having LOADS OF FUN and taking amazing photographs while doing all that!  :-)

Valhalla Grand Hall Wedding at South Lake Tahoe - Marco & Lluvia

Once again I had the pleasure of photographing with Sacramento Wedding Photographer Doug Miranda at a wedding just a few weeks ago.  It was a beautiful fall day to be married at Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and working with Doug is always a pleasure.
