Rhyolite Ghost Town, Goldfield Hotel, & the Nevada Desert

This past summer I had the cool opportunity to take a trip through the Nevada desert.  Two of my stops included the supposedly haunted Goldfield Hotel and the old ghost town Rhyolite.  For anyone who doesn't know where these places are, the simplest directions would be to travel south through miles of desert until the road stops, then turn right.  Okay, neither one are really that hard to find, but it sure seemed like I was miles from any real civilization at the time.

Here are some neat Goldfield Hotel links:

So, if ever you're on the east side of Death Valley, take a few moments to visit these neat little places!

When did you go to all these places?? Haha, just kidding! I love the look on the images, did you use a lens-baby? That's what it looks like! Really cool artistic shots, when are they going to be up for sale? :)

Hey Dominoe,

Thanks for stopping in! Yes, a Lensbaby 2 was used, along with a 15mm fisheye and a 24-105 lens. As for the sale....hmmm....I'm working on that gallery!

Take care,
Michael
