The unexpected

Hi everyone,

I might be gone from the Eblog for a couple of days, or if nothing else there might be a delay in some posts.

We spent most of the night in the ER with my daughter Amy as she fell and had to have stitches in her head, directly above her right eye.

It's a little after midnight and I now have her tucked into bed with Momma for the night. She is doing okay, but we have to monitor her behavior pretty closely for the next few days to look for any trauma (because it was a pretty hard fall).

 

We have much to be thankful for as it could have been much worse.

Anything worth doing

...is worth doing right.

A buddy of mine had a pretty nice watch that he wanted to sell online.  Because it wasn't your average watch it was obviously worth more.

Now, he could have taken some nice images with his point & shoot camera and I'm sure the watch still would have sold with no trouble.  Instead, he asked me to photograph it...and so I did!

So what's the point? As my Dad always used to say, anything worth doing is worth doing right. This watch is a piece of art in its own right, and having an image that shows that increases the perceived value!
